Windmill Creek Apartments

Applications must be done in-person. They will NOT accommodate anyone who is living further away and trying to move into the area. I live 6.5 hours away and I asked for an application to which they said there are NO exceptions and NO accommodations, not even by mail or email or virtual call. Also, the office kept telling me to go to Apartments.com but they don't update which units are available. The two that were listed (119 and 133) were already rented out.

I lived here for almost a year with my fiance, my dog and my cat. Our neighbors were amazing, we had no problems with them the entire time. In fact, we became friends! The complex is quiet and the tenants are all really respectful. The pool is a little small but because of COVID we never really used it. The apartment managers are amazing. They're quick to fix problems, easy to talk to, and willing to listen to you. The maintenance guys are all really nice and do great work! This is overall a really great apartment complex, especially with the lower price + no cat or dog rent! However, I had to bring the rating down for the area. I've been here for just about 5 years. With the exception of the spiders (usually on the outside of the apartment complex), it's a great affordable place to stay. The floor plans are great, the price is great, and the maintenance staff are very helpful if there is any issue. I like how it's next to the 710fwy, 405 fwy, and the 91fwy. I don't like how there isn't a nearby grocery store but there are plenty of markets to go to.

I lived there for 5 years and I truly enjoyed my time there. They have really done slight improvements over the years and is really a great place to call home if you're looking for affordable rent with immediate access to freeways. One thing I miss is their really spacious bedrooms. Not far from bixby knolls and lakewood if you need shopping or want to eat out. Really good bang for your buck!

A good place to live if you're on a budget, want to be freeway adjacent, aren't afraid of living in an older building or of spiders. The apartment, a one bed and one bath, is well laid out with lots of open space in the living/dining area. The kitchen is cramped, and my wife and I had trouble both occupying it at once. There also isn't much storage or counter space in the kitchen. The bedroom is well sized. The closet was ample enough and there was also a hall closet which is similarly sized. The bathroom is serviceable in terms of size with a tub and single sink. All apartments come with a balcony (no patios) which included a sizeable storage space.
