Willington Oaks Apartments

I can speak to the 1 bedroom apartments. The management gets to work orders in a timely manner, takes care of area, and it is a good price for value. I lived there for almost 4 years and moved out of state for a new job. Was quiet and an overall great place for me to live. I've heard bad stories of the 2+ bedroom units (which are further back in the complex), however, I would HIGHLY recommend the one bedroom options.

I would rate this place 0 stars if I could. If you choose to live here be prepared to have a lot of patience. My lease start date was pushed back by 2 weeks because my apartment wasn’t finished getting renovated on time. When I arrived, they tried to push it back another day because it still wasn’t ready. I had drove 6 hours to move in that day with all my stuff and had no where else to go. They ended up bringing in “an extra crew” aka two 16 year old boys and a swifter to help. When I moved in we had to wait a few days for a shower curtain rod and curtain rods to be installed. When they finally were installed I had to move them myself because they it then in too close to the closet door and there wasn’t enough room for the hanger to shut the door. The WORST management. When Bruce was here, things were great. Then, without anyone being aware of it, he up and left. There has been nobody in the leasing office for probably 3 weeks now. I have been calling and emailing and nobody has been getting back to me. Also, on their website they advertise that they have 1-bedroom and 3-bedroom apartments. The 3-bedrooms are only 2-bedrooms. No clue why they did this. Used to be a fairly good price for rent, but since they started doing "renovations", they increased the price extremely. Terrible place.

Amazing place to stay at for its price that’s why they receive an extra 1 star. I lived here for a year, 2018-2019. But me & my boyfriend NEVER received our deposit money back!!! My boyfriend would try to contact them, but they would say “we are working on it” for how long? A year long?

Nice apartments with decent neighbors. Kitchens are a little dated but fully functional if small. Bathrooms are also dated but fully functional. Heating is efficient and included in lease. Parking is a little annoying as lots haven't been repaired in awhile so they are bumpy in odd places. But they are very good at snow removal in winter.
