I love my apartment and the layout and balcony and management is great about doing routine checks for safety. I feel they take great care of the complex. That being said, if youre someone looking for more tranquility that doesn't leave daily for work, this is not quiet. I travel for work so I'm often home during "work" hours and sleep a weird schedule. Constantly woke up by the trash truck banging the dumpster for 15 minutes. Lawn maintenance in warm weather and snow removal in winter. And the freaking car wash right next door that never ceases to have people going thru it and hearing all the beeps and prompts. Other than that it's solid and not far from downtown. It's like just far enough that a walk is a little far but can be managed. The w/s/t at $105 a pop also feels very high, especi
I lived as a tenant in building 37 for 6 months while I was in-between unexpected moves. A huge issue I had was the property management "crown". The move in process was easy, however for their first inspection, they came in my apartment and took photos of everything which is not on the lease or notice. I also spoke to an attorney, and confirmed that it is not legal to take photos of your tenants apartment without notice unless its an emergency. No notice was given that pictures would be taken of the apartment. notice was given of inspection, not photos. When I was moving out, I cleaned the whole apartment for 3 days, washed everything and got my move out inspection all signed off with the exception of wiping the baseboards. The lady even said it was the best cleaning they have seen. I wip
We were very happy to have rented at Whitefish Crossing. Firstly, the office manager has been very helpful and fair with us. She worked really hard to get the unit ready for us when we were in a crunch to move in. She was also really helpful and fair concerning any issues we ran across, which were minor. Our dog loved walking to get treats in the office. The space was great and clean, and we always felt safe. For the majority of our time, we have not had any major issues with the neighbors. The location is great, and it served us well for what we needed.
If you are looking to move into the Whitefish area I would strongly advise against this apartment complex. For starters, they are extremely poorly built. Within the first hour you'll notice that you will hear EVERYTHING from all of the surrounding apartments. On top of that, in the Summer months you'll notice glue oozing up from the floor between the boards. I've seen this in my unit and 2 others also having the issue. If you have any issues with the complex then tough, the "Office Manager" is basically useless. No issues get fixed and often times you'll be blamed if something goes wrong. She often defers to the "owners" or "state of Montana" any chance she gets to not deal with an issue. Don't worry though, she lives on the property. Great, right? No. Not only eavesdropping on conversatio
My experience renting here so far has been good. The move in process was easy enough to complete, and the apartment was clean with no issues with appliances or electrical. There is some noise from adjacent apartments but it is minimal and not an issue. Management has been responsive to any points I have raised, although admittedly there haven't been many. Having lived in a number of apartments recently, the build quality here is ok, comparable to other complexes that I've graced, it's not luxury but I would describe it as more functional, which works for me. So far have enjoyed living here, and the Whitefish area, and looking forward to the ski season.....
