Overpriced, poor construction quality, and refusal to take ownership I wish I could give Stanley Martin Homes a negative rating—they do not even deserve one star. The construction quality of my brand-new home is extremely poor, including issues such as rushed interior work, lack of attention to detail, and overall workmanship that appears to have been completed with little care. This has resulted in months of stress, unfinished work, and constant follow-ups after move-in. Since occupying the home, there has been significant temperature inconsistency throughout the house, especially noticeable during hot and cold weather. Experience in a nutshell: (1) Excellent sales process; (2) solidly built home, albeit with questionable choices for minor items; and (3) some of the most spectacularly bad post-closure service/follow-through that you'll ever experience. The sales part: 4/5. Sam is truly a rock star. She's very personable, detailed, organized, and provides constant status of everything. One point deducted from this category not because of Sam, but because of the way Stanley Martin handled the design part. We were rushed and had to pick from 4 prepackaged designs with pretty much zero flexibility. (2) The home: 3/5. The home does look good and is a very solid build. The key components -- HVAC systems, appliances, and (if you choose the highest-tier/most-expensive design package) the countertops and floors

I cannot say enough about Eric Stewart. This man really knows what he is doing, very much an expert, answered all my questions and even after buying our home he has continued to be available for all my questions. Love our new house with the huge and I mean HUGE island, great community lots of kids and families. Love that we have Eric to help with anything we need. The guy is a 10/10! and super handsome too! We are extremely happy with our decision to go with Stanley Martin thanks to Eric Stewart!

Jason Barr at this community is amazing! He went out of his way to make I can get the house of my dreams. I have a hard time liking people but Jason is someone I recommend to my twinsister, older sister, and my parents to work with. He is honest, upfront and no gimmicks. So thankful for him for making this happen and letting me finally find and build the house of my dreams! 100% recommend him and this company.
