White Oak Townhomes

DO. NOT. MOVE. HERE. Ownership/management will constantly do things to show you they don’t care about you in the slightest. This was 8am on Saturday (today) with ZERO WARNING. I worked until 6am, got one hour of sleep, then was treated to 8 STRAIGHT HOURS of unbelievably loud construction going on above me. Like i said, ZERO warning this was even going to be happening. This perfectly sums up their communication and their utter indifference to their residents.

The townhome we viewed yesterday had really nice renovations, through the light fixtures, bathrooms, and kitchen appliances. Unfortunately, the location isn't right for us. Also, the upstairs bedrooms smelled so strongly of dog. The carpets were all messed up at the door frame as well. The vinyl flooring in the kitchen was pulled at the back door too.

Currently been living here for two years and about to leave once my lease ends in August. Overall living here is okay but definitely nothing exceptional. PROS -quiet neighborhood -short drive to downtown atlanta, eav, and downtown decatur. -units are relatively spacious -landscaping comes out weekly so the grounds are well maintained. -not very expensive. CONS -for the past two years we’ve consistently had issues with our A/C and heat. In the summer we find our selves practically melting and in the winter we’re freezing and have to take turns using our space heaters. maintenance responds relatively quickly but they never actually fix the issue so the problem resumes within days of them coming by. in my opinion those are unacceptable conditions to live in. -my roommate’s car was broken into

Lived in this apartment complex a year just wanted to share the pros and cons. Let’s just say it was an interesting experience. Cons: THIN walls & windows with no screens Had packages stolen multiple times No security gates Trash bins always overflowing & trash across property No insect control. Which is needed. The water was cut off often due to pluming issues Blinds were broken & toilet constantly ran upon move in Uneven floors Small hardwares like toilet paper holders, hand rails, door hinges were not on correctly Complicated move-out process No leasing office on property No amenities Pros: Central location. Updated appliances and modern interior look. Spacious rooms Didn’t have any issue with my neighbors themselves Overall the move in process was simple (completely virtual) however

In the kitchen it was a big rat I would never wanna stay here again first time seeing a rat in a house I would not recommend
