I lived there for about two years majority of pandemic time I spent in the building and all the time paid rent on time. After first year of lease they raised the rent $50 for next year when all the people are suffering with pandemic, I requested many times not to raise, I lost the job. Although they were very strict to raise and they were saying building is not in rental control agreement with city. If I want live than I have to sign on lease papers with $50 raise. I didn’t have any choice because moving in a new place with this COVID situation was not ideal. One of the worst management I have ever come through. I have lived in other apartments but I have never seen an arrogant super and irresponsible + disrespectful management in my entire life so far. Both the management and super was very mannerless on our last day in that apartment. The super tries to act extra smart all the time and will argue with you on the most trivial thing. He argued with us because we moved everything on the same day instead of not breaking down our move throughout the week which is not even his business. Also be prepared to get blamed for false repairs. They have cut off a big amount of our security deposit and showed us fake pictures of the damages which didn't even belong to our apartment. We were supposed to take it to the court but we moved to a different state

We just moved in last week and already regret it. We have lived in “bad areas” of Queens and the Bronx and never experienced a more barbaric residential building. Tenants are noisy to an almost absurd degree. Do not be fooled by the spacious apartments and “renovations.” The building is falling apart and the walls are thinner than paper. Mice run free throughout first floor. Chunks of plaster fall off the corners of the walls from simply shutting the doors and this will be charged against your deposit. Management office does NOTHING. Stay away or live to regret it

Lived there two years ago, it was a mice and bed bug infested ghonorea. A shame that this had a Jamaica Estates zipcode. I have pictures i wish i could post them somewhere. Mice, roaches, broken bathrooms, paper thin walls, you can hear 6th floor throwing a party from the 2nd floor. Its even worst then this, make sure you ask for a hundred dollars off the rent because in the winter you going to need electric heaters. When you move in, they will have you move on their own time or fine you at least 300 dollars. If your rent is late expect around 80 dollars additional. Oh god, don’t even sign a rent decontrolled lease, or you will be homeless for Christmas like i was. Don’t expect any of the old tenants to say anything, majority of the building pays half what you will.
