Filthy apartment building, when the fire alarm sounds the elderly residents who use wheelchairs and walkers often remain in their units, hoping for the best. I have always felt that the management company is not up to par. The residents are low-income federal housing assistance recipients, and the building itself is in poor condition. The odor of the elevator is not only unpleasant, but permeates the entire building. I know someone who resides there, unfortunately, I refuse to visit her at the property due to safety concerns and lack of adequate safety protocol

I spend 20+ hours a week here with a client and it's been like 6 months since any cleaning has been done except the first floor sometimes. The elevators smell like dog urine and body oder because they haven't been cleaned. The hall carpets haven't been vacuumed. And the stairwell are disgusting. Pretty much since Julie left nothing has been cleaned. Like a Frat house from Animal House...... Here it is about a month later. When exactly are you gonna address these concerns? The elevator smells like mildew and vomit. The same dirt spots have been on the floors for months. I'm sure there's somewhere you can be reported to. I'm documenting with date stamps the filthiness of this place from now on. The stairways smell like urine.

I don’t live here but I am a caregiver who cares for clients who live in this building and i have seen a drastic change in safety and cleanliness of the building since Guardian management took over. There’s always trash in and around the building and stairwells. I am terrified to get on that elevator due to the concerning shaking/stalling/and banging noises it makes, and will only do so if transporting a client who can’t walk as we have no choice. It seems the management is making their own rules regarding who is allowed to do what. I can constantly smell the sweet smell of food rot, cigarets and cannabis smoke in the building coming from various apartments. Some tenants have aggressive large dogs who would not normally be allowed in any other apartment complex in the area and make it diff

I love living here. My wife and I have lived here about 3 years now and have had a really good experience, much better than we were expecting for low income housing. The apartment manager is awesome, super helpful and doesn't let the building fall apart. Most of the other tenants are really friendly. There's a lot of activities in the community room, one of which is a food box program which comes every two weeks, super helpful. Laundry room is well kept, onsite storage and parking is well monitored. Location is amazing and the little shops out front of the building are pretty cool. Overall great experience.

I have had such an awesome experience with Eric the maintenance guy here at Westtown. When he's done with the job, he always asks if everything else is working okay and if I need anything else looked at or fixed. Gives me the piece of mind to know that he genuinely cares about the tenants and isn't just here for a paycheck. He's so warm and friendly. When he's passing people in the hallways, he always acknowledges and greets everyone he sees. His dedication and commitment to our community makes living here worth it. This place wouldn't be the same without Eric. 😊
