Westmount at Houston St.

Any messages on here prior to July of 2025, no longer matter. The new management team are above and beyond on top all concerns. Also, I have lived at Westmount since 2022. I have never had an issue with rodents. We live in TX, everytime someone moves in or out, issue with roaches. Spray, no more problem. There were issues with reported things getting done. Now, we have new management. The management just changed in Jul of 2025. Since this change, I have no problems. Smoke detectors replaced, lock on door repaired, dishwasher replaced and ac unit now running perfect. All I have to do is put in a work order request, within 2 to 4 days request is done. Do not move here the lady's lie add charged and I had to go to court twice for a false eviction to and they still sent 13.8k to collections which I then had removed with court documents they are liars. The whole time living here i spent a ton of money to avoid getting roaches there were mice in the walls squirrels in the dryer vent. Trumped up fees they lie about how much water costs 1 month is 100. They are a corporate entity that made this property massively worse over the last year if they tell you anything just go to court.

I looked at these apartments for seven years. I really love it. I love the management. They’re really really nice. They’re really helpful and very attentive.

I was told I have an outstanding balance with them and when I call their office they disconnect the line. I haven’t been able to reach anyone about this issue and it is over $2,000 in fees. I confirmed I was good to go when my lease ended. Someone please call me back it’s been days and no response. No email or other form to reach out to them

Absolutely not a livable establishment. Let’s start by saying I’m from another state and I was relying on pictures and reviews to determine where to move my family for the moment. Now I’ve been in some hood situations but this is not managed properly. Bugs upon arrival. They claimed they had a gated community and none of the gates were working for months until we complained. Pool was green for months in June. The front office was the worst to deal with. They bombarded us with extra charges for everything. I’m a guy who likes his rent paid on time. They claimed rent was 1200 and charged me an additional 1000 dollars in the month of February. We asked for the contract to which they refused to provide but asked us to stay another year.
