Westgate Gardens

4 stars because I should not be paying for a pool that is not on site. I asked Ashley about it but she doesn't know anything about it other than it's a mandatory $100 to drive elsewhere for it Drop the mandatory pool annual pool fee & I'll give them 5 stars. Rock solid 5 stars. I have a 1st floor 2 bedroom. I've only lived here a few months though. The entire process was semi silky smooth. They have a very generic lease that had to be revamped legally before I'd sign...but they did revamp it. Recycling? It's NJ law, but Westgate Gardens does not. Drop a start for not complying with the law on recycling. Snow removal? Sweet gig they way they do it. No shoveling out my car. Add a star for this. I appreciate that they are always on top of lawn care and are making attractive upgrades, such as repainting entryways and the brick exterior. The maintenance people are great, friendly, and very responsive! The apartments that have been updated are very nice. Some cons are that the parking is not close to your apartment door in many apartments (not all), there are not laundry rooms in each building, there is only one recycling bin far away which discourages recycling, and the neighbors are permitted to feed the squirrels which leads to squirrel infestation.

If you want your deposit back then find a place somewhere else. The people running this place will find anything to not give your deposit back. The leasing agent Ashley is the WORST! She is super rude and she lied to us so that they didn't have to give us our deposit back! Save your money and go somewhere else!!

I came to know about Westgate Garden at Parsippany from one of my friend, already a resident here, & he introduced me to the Community Team, who manages entire process. I was still in India & it was about a month for me to reach in New Jersey, must say @Ashley G- you are Awesome!! - you managed every thing from documentation to the movement formalities, apartment allocation, & it was all , so clear , transparent & superb process. The apartment i moved in, was properly cleaned, newly painted, new flooring, & is spacious enough for me & my family. The neighborhood is good, & community has very friendly residents though it has been just 2 weeks but it seems, I have well settled in . I'm writing to express my concern about a neighbor who consistently smokes marijuana in their residence and out side in front of the common entrance . The smoke frequently enters my home, causing discomfort and health issues for my family, particularly my children, who suffer from breathing problems. The constant exposure to secondhand smoke is exacerbating their conditions, and I'm worried about the long-term effects on their health. I understand that marijuana may be legal, but I believe it's essential to consider the impact on neighboring families, especially those with young children. Its for almost 24/7 and we are always closing the doors and staying inside.I urge the community management to address this issue and find a solution to ensure a healthy environment for all residents.
