WestEnd25 Apartments

When my boyfriend and I first moved here in 2024, we loved it! The management company was great and we were really enjoying our time here. Then management changed and it went downhill. First of all, the concierge are wonderful people but they are never at the desk in between the hours of 5pm-8pm. Which sucks when you are getting uber eats or need to let somebody in. Nobody knows how to manage the package room also. Second of all, the renewal rent they wanted us to pay for our third year here was ridiculous. We had a one bedroom 682 sq ft and they wanted to charge us $3,700?!!(! After negotiating $3,400?!?!, Insane prices on top of the $600 plus in random fees they charge you every month AND $275 for parking! We paid for common area electric at one point like what the heck. I’m not usually someone who leaves reviews, but I had to for this one. We were in town visiting our son and booked an appointment to see where he’ll be living in August. Albert was super informative and really took his time showing us everything. The property is in a great location, beautiful, and very well kept. The heated rooftop pool honestly surprised me. Such an awesome feature!

Lovely property. Really appreciate Albert for taking us through our options and doing his best to find us one suitable for all of our needs. He kept in touch even after our tour and left such a positive impression on us compared to other places we toured. We’re still deciding whether to move from NY and plan to make a decision soon and will keep our eye on this building in particular.

We had an appointment on a Saturday to view an apartment and were told that the person showing the apartments was on a tour and we could sit and wait. How long? They couldn't tell us. There was no communication between the leasing agent in the building and the front desk so we didn't know how long we might be there. When we arrived there was another couple that had been waiting also who eventually left. We waited ONE HOUR, then left. We have yet to receive a follow up call or apology. Note to WestEnd25 management: whoever is showing apartments should be in communication with the front desk to the waiting appointments. And why are you taking appointments if you cannot honor them? It appeared to be a very nice building, but if our experience is any indication of how the building is managed,

Not recommended for anyone who relies on daily visiting services such as childcare providers, dog walkers, or sitters. If you need people to access your apartment without you being physically present, this building is very inconvenient. The elevators are controlled by the concierge, and there are frequent issues where the security system does not work properly. Often, elevator access is not activated from the lobby, forcing visitors to return to the concierge desk to request access again. To make matters worse, the stairwells are locked from the inside when trying to exit, leaving very limited options to move around the building. Overall, the access and security setup is poorly managed and creates unnecessary frustration for residents and their service providers.
