Update: just received the call from my vet that my INDOOR hairless cats have giardia and they believe it’s from the contamination of the roaches!!! I am in the medical field, so I am incredibly clean and over the top with disinfection. This is NOT a hygiene issue. I am truly looking into my legal options as this is uninhabitable and a health hazard that management refuses to rectify. BEWARE!!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Let me preface, I never write reviews; and if I do, they are positive. However, this is the absolute WORST apartment complex I have ever lived in. If you want to live in a roach infested apartment (that pest control cannot get under control for the last 6 months as they are quite literally in the walls), then this is the complex for you! I want to share my experience with the leasing office. I called ahead and asked about information on one of the units. It was pretty a good conversation enough that I wanted to apply without looking at the unit. Today, I applied and paid $75 dollars for the application since they have a special that the administration fee is waived and 50% off on the security deposit. In less than three hours, I was denied for residency. In fact, after finding out I was denied, I called the office but they did not pick up at all as I believe they have the caller id. Right after the phone calls, I decided to check the website and le behold, the unit I applied does not appear there anymore and the units on the same floorplan just went up $100-120 more. Surprised to see some of the other reviews- I moved to this complex as a temporary solution for a job almost a year ago and ended up staying and getting a larger unit. Needless to say I’m satisfied with the property. The location of this apartment is awesome, tucked away off the main road surrounded by mostly residential neighborhoods great for walking, but you’re also 10/15 min away from virtually every store and downtown. I find the property so tranquil with the trees and the hill, and the pool is a hidden gem! The units are older but do the job, anytime something has broke or stopped working maintenance has resolved within a day. I have seen bugs/roaches in my apartment, but I kill it, clean it up and schedule pest control if I see more than one- I’ve never had an issue. Also never had

The neighborhood is a nightmare. The parking lots are basically sliding off the hill. They shut off the water 3 or more times a week. There are roaches, flies, and pests everywhere outside the apartments. The management doesn't do any pest control at all, it's all on you. You cannot have anything other than plants, chairs and a table on your balcony or they will fine you. No lights, no bird feeders, no kayaks or exercise equipment, etc.. They will fine you $50 per item on the balcony. Everything in the apartments is old, outdated, and smells. The only benefit is the cheap rental rates, but that isn't worth your sanity or peace of mind. Live anywhere else if you can, don't make the same mistake I have.

I lived at westdale creek apartments for 6 months and in those 6 months it felt like hell! When I tell you I had problem after problem living in that apartment it was ridiculous! Mold, roaches , smelly stove , fruit flies, fly infestation, broken sockets , water issues every day and horrible staff! At one point I thought it couldn’t get worse but no! It was so bad that even one of the staff members was using our parking spot that we pay for (carport) as his own personal parking space , I hated this place and will not recommend it to anyone. PLEASE DONT let the beautiful trees outside fool you from the horrible living conditions inside the apartment , it’s not worth the view, I went through so many stress levels living in that place and the manager rosemary didn’t help for anything plus I
