Alexis and the Westcott team have been great and super helpful throughout the home buying process. The orientation she provided was useful and detailed, and any defects I pointed during inspection/walk-through (all very minor) were fixed by the closing date. All my concerns and questions were taken care of. Buying a home can be stressful especially if its your first home, but Westcott and Alexis have gone the extra mile to ensure I have all the info I need for knowing how to maintain my new home. I feel confident the Westcott will keep taking care of me throughout the process and years to come. They provide great customer service.

We just purchased a brand new townhome from Westcott Homes and wanted to share our exp. We had looked at many townhomes in the past couple of years as we house shopped, and we immediately took to the Westcott design as it's simple, elegant, sensible and with great craftsmanship. As a local builder, they seem to pay extra attention to details, not just in their houses, but throughout the buying/closing process. There are some nice, personal touches that are missing from the big guys these days. I understand everyone is looking for something different in their homes, but take a look for yourself with the newer technologies that are built in, the wonderful appliances and even a mini-split in each of the bedrooms. These details make the townhome feel more luxurious & comfortable.

After reading Westcotts’ response to another 1-Star review l feel compelled to add onto the concerns. Their reply reinforces the lack of transparency and accountability we continue to experience. Wescott claims they “take pride” in their neighborhoods, yet the reality on the ground tells a very different story. Their tenants routinely violate basic community rules: overflowing trash bins, garbage bags left on the ground for days and frequent illegal parking - including blocking fire lanes and obstructing garage access. When tenants ask renters to move moving-vehicles/box trucks, it’s met with pushback as the “need” to park in the fire lane because they are moving and that their landlord did not say they couldn’t park in the shared driveways to move. Update: When a sales team emphatically says “the land can never be built on” and points at green belt, that is very different than saying “could change depending on zoning laws”. When a mediocre sales team says straight up lies, take some ownership that you hire mid-tier workers off the street to push a mediocre product. Have you shared with buyers the wall units for AC and Heat have an insanely high risk for mold? You have not. What a horrid experience and response from Westcott. Beware of buying from Westcott Homes. They are not transparent in their sales tactics and have misled multiple buyers in our community.
