West Wind Apartments

I would rate WW apartments an honest 3.5. I’ve lived here for about 18 months. Staff and maintenance are friendly are quick to respond and never had issues with them. The unit I rented was clean and a nice cozy 2 bedroom on the second floor. If I could I would still continue to live here but due to personal reasons I couldn’t. Now for the negatives. Being on the 2nd floor I could hear basically EVERY single step the upstairs neighbor takes. And as a single renter I don’t make any noises however my downstairs neighbor came to me and complained if I could keep it down at night (I’m a night owl), I apologized profusely and told him I couldnt help it and that I too could hear every step of my upstairs neighbor. He understood but I told him I will do everything I can to decrease my activity an

let me start by sayin dont rent from west winds apt!. when i moved in in the begining i lived in 2317 apt 3c for 2 years never had a issue not one bit.. moved to 2221 apt 2a on nov 16th on nov 18th the people in the upstairs apt started banging on the floor with god knows what they sit there vaccumme in one spot let it sit there for 45 mins in one spot you call emergenct maintence like your supposed to but they dont do nothing about anything not mind you i called several times over several months for them to do something about them harrassing me upstairs for nothing to get done... fast forward cause judith lost her job for us to get a new manager named allison,,, who in turned told me she didnt care i had proof i was the one in the wrong and that i was the problem that th

westwind is a nice place to live with friendly staff. they got me in very quickly when I needed it. they are good at communication, and seem to have a genuine sense of community. The internet they provide is actually pretty stable. and everything always looks nice and is very clean. if there's anything negative I'd have to comment on it would be sometimes it can be very loud during the day. (3rd shifters be warned) The neighbors can be very noisy. seemingly putting all of their weight into each step and just having parties every night blasting mariachi music. somebody was having an argument outside and decided to fire off a weapon, bringing police all over. I'm pretty sure somebody almost got into a physical altercation over the lack of available laundry machines. and one of my neighbors

The washing machines here are abhorrent. completely useless. The fact that I'm stuck here with these machines for years really blows. they don't clean anything. it's bad enough I have to download an app and give my email and phone number to some random company just to wash my clothes, but it doesn't even wash my clothes? crazy. I pay 1k a month to live here, just to have dirty laundry that I pay for. fix it.

We haven't actually moved in our belongings yet but so far our experience with West Wind staff has been great. We're looking forward to being a part of the community!
