West Mockingbird Apartments

We were referred to the Bell properties by a friend and decided to stop in to schedule a tour that would fit with the tours already scheduled for the day. Alexis, greeted me in between calls & let me know she could fit us in at 4:45pm. We were grateful it worked with our schedule, however it was also the last viewing of our day. After a long day of viewing our options for a place to call home we came to the last appointment of the day with West Mockingbird.We expected our visit to go as well as some of our earlier tours, and for the property to be a contender as we had more visits scheduled the next day. For the price they charge, I expected much better.. When I moved in, the apartment was still dirty. The washer was disgusting, there was gunk mixed with hair built up all over the lid. I’ve never seen anything like it. The kitchen cabinets also clearly weren’t wiped down there were still food particles stuck to the bottom of them. For the price they charge, basic cleaning before move in should be the bare minimum.

Me and my sister came in and had the pleasure of touring with Blake. He has so a great warming personality ! He gave us information great information about the community and surrounding area. I feel great about my move to Dallas now . I wish there were more agents like Blake he definitely knows how to make you feel like your at home.

If I could give this apartment zero stars, I would. Management clearly does not care about their tenants. The gate is constantly broken or left open, which has led to repeated car break-ins and thefts. I lived here for four years, and this is by far the worst apartment I have ever stayed in. I eventually had to break my lease because I was completely fed up. The staff members are consistently rude and have very unpleasant attitudes. For how expensive this apartment is, there are no working security cameras to help identify who is breaking into cars. Management repeatedly claims they will provide camera footage to the police, but this never happens just empty promises to avoid responsibility. Alexis was super helpful during my tour and walking through the application process and very personable! You can definitely tell she has your best interest at heart! Loved working with her!
