West Haven Apartments

This is a three bedroom unit that I transferred from a two bedroom. All these photos are taken before we moved in 2021. I had no where else to go so I cleaned it up the best I could and I did send these photos to management but nothing happened. I've finally moved because living in these apartments have been terrible! I definitely would NOT recommend anyone to stay here! 11/24/24 Again West Haven Apartments are the absolute worst place to live! Especially if you have health issue. There is mold everywhere! When I was packing up I discovered a HUGE mold area once I removed a picture from the wall. I informed management about it with a video and no response at all! Also I have yet to get a return call or email regarding my $963 deposit. Again I should photos of how the apartment was prior

YIKES Over the weekend, Mayor Gilbert held a Community Town Hall where (among other things) concerns were raised about unsafe and unresponsive property management at West Haven Apartments. While the Mayor personally showed up to install AC units for a few families who were without, he says there is still a lot of work to be done and help needed.

I would not recommend anyone to move into these rentals unless you are available to sit in the office from open to close! I know someone that has been approved over three months ago to move in but has yet to receive keys nor a move in date. There is only one manager in the office which is mind boggling to me who continues to "need" documents that she already has yet she isn't able to give me a guaranteed move in date. It appears to be a lack of communicate because she never knows what is going on or what the next steps are. I would be able to fully comprehend this inconvenience if it was on my behalf but it is not! The lack of structure in the office begins to make sense when of course you can't get in contact with anyone in the corporate office. I agree with another review and if I could

Lived there for 4 years . Within that 4 years it’s turned over ownership every single one of those years. The only good time I had was the gist 6 months. A year ago we had a leaking roof for the whole winter. I even had a visit from a squirrel that chewed through the tarp that was up there forever. I had to take care of that situation myself along with the hole in the one bedroom left from the waterfall. I newborn granddaughter had gotten a respiratory infection from the constant draft. I could go on and on with different events. But yet they looked for that rent payment on the first and wasn’t willing to pro rate.

I have only been leasing about 4 months and have had a good experience of the property. I have encountered the property manager to be a strong manager who doesn't let alot of things happened to bring protection and security to the property that I am not used to. The lease is explanatory on what to expect when living on the property.
