I contacted West Florida Home Inspections last minute after getting an expedited closing date from our builder, and they were truly PHENOMENAL!!! I filled out the form on their website after work because I had forgotten to call during business hours, and the OWNER himself responded to me within an hour! We chatted via text for about a half hour and he answered all my questions. The next morning, the office manager, Erin, reached out to me with my quote, which was much cheaper than other companies! Erin was very polite and personable! Any questions I emailed were answered within a few hours. Dustin did our home inspection and was so thorough that a single exposed nail head on an almost 2,000 sqft roof was documented in our 64 page report, as was missing caulk under a window sill. West Florida just came out last Friday 3/14/25 for a 4pt inspection and wind mitigation. I had just gotten a new roof a week prior hence the reason i wanted new inspections done. Everything was fine until i got the report back yesterday with wrong information on it. The inspector wrote the report using all old roof information and failed to report the new roof. When i called to complain the receptionist acted like it was my fault saying " i didn't tell them i got a new roof, they didn't know" even tho when i initially reached out to schedule the inspection i was very clear and excited about the fact that i had a new roof and whether or not i mentioned it, your INSPECTOR should've been able to recognize a new roof(which he commented on when he did the inspector saying "this is a new roof).
