Management and maintenance are normally exceptional. Only issue I've had is a shortfall in how they handle issues with other residents. There is a camera at the pool that was pointed to view anyone that may be swimming or sunbathing. After being informed, the office told the resident to take it down. But the camera returned and is angled to the side. However, it is a 360 rotating camera with wide view. The management team is not sticking to the previous stance that the camera be taken down stating that it is being turned is good enough. In addition, when we had a paper notifying other residents of the camera in case they were uncomfortable with it watching them or their children, the signs are taken down by the office and we're told we can't do that. Teresa and Christina were AMAZING!! Me and my boyfriend had to be out of where we originally were by Saturday and we had been living in a hotel for a few days. After we applied, management was very quick to get our application processed and approved so that we could move in asap and we just moved in yesterday in fact. It's quiet and peaceful here, management is awesome, very well maintained, I feel safe here and feel safe about raising my daughter here once she arrives, the apartment was VERY cleaned up when we moved in and smelled amazing. Management was very helpful with answering any questions that we had and even left a small welcome gift in the apartment for us when we moved in. I moved to Charleston last year and I’ve rented from Southwood Property Management for the past five years. I looked at another Southwood Property in Ladson after touring 4830 and the difference in customer service was noticeable. Teresa and the leasing agent at that time were so very friendly and outgoing and literally became the reason we chose 4830. I have zero regrets. The apartment complex is not huge and therefore it’s not crowded and we’re not packed in. The grounds are always well maintained and my neighbors along with the staff keep it clean. Living here has been an amazing experience! The staff is friendly and helpful, the community is well-maintained, and maintenance always arrives on time and resolves issues properly. The location is convenient, and the apartments are spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend!
