Wavecrest Management

Wavecrest Management is the worst management company I have ever experienced. They recently took over my building on Schroeders from Cornell Pace, and since then it has been nothing but problems. I owed $768 in back rent and was approved for a One Shot Deal. The checks were sent to them on January 6th. I followed up almost daily asking where the payments were and when they would be applied to my account, but I kept getting the runaround with no clear answers. In mid-January, they added an extra month of rent to my balance that should not have been there, and despite repeatedly bringing it to their attention, they have refused to remove it. Horrible management company. No one answers the phones, they lie about information, Jennifer has a nasty attitude as many of them employed there does. I have mold and mushrooms( I dont know how) growing out of my ceiling from a continuous leaking. Its been reported numerous times the super has come taken pictures everything. Guess what?? Not repaired. I explained on numerous occasions my daughter has asthma she cannot inhale mold, it's not safe for anyone. Wavecrest still does nothing. They also crossed my bathroom plumbing with someones kitchen sink. At any given time I have oil, grease, rice, food particles, dirt, flowing out of the drain. Its deplorable conditions, no transfer, situation not fixed just an "oh well" I hate this company with a passion, they need to revamp the whole depart

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. They are the most Horrible, disgusting, non-empathetic, useless management that I have ever dealt with. They lie and tell you what you want to hear. They DO NOT care about the tenants or the property. They will not fix anything in the building or apartments. They let certain people in the apartments do whatever they want. I have lived here for 20 years, and when Wavecrest took over, the building went downhill, and it's not coming back. We had rats running through the wall, and you can hear them at night. When I say nothing is being done, I mean nothing!!!

I was really going through Depression after loosing my Mother 02/2025. I completely stopped living. I was really backed up in rent Worried I’d get evicted. But by the grace of God Wavecrest did not evict me Glory to God. I truly Thank you guys. I called 01/30/2026 to ask for help in the Portal to pay my back rent. I forgot the Gentleman’s name that helped me but he was so helpful and sympathetic after I’d told him what I been through. He said he’s sorry for my loss. I just want to say thank you again sir. I hope you see this review and know I’m talking about you. You made my day. I appreciate you guy’s at Wavecrest Managment for all your Patience. Happy Tenant

Our building on Nelson Avenue recently had a fire. I never had anything good to say about Wavecrest management, but during this hard time for me and my kids, management and ownership showed they care for the residents. We were given the option to go to a hotel & they hired contractors to fix our apartments. The building manager, Mr. Veras, was very attentive and even stayed late with the families until he was sure everyone was in a hotel or a shelter. He even bought food for the entire building, which was surprising. I would give 5 stars, but management and ownership need to help with the number of drug addicts they place in these empty apartments. I work and raise 3 kids alone; we deserve to come to a building without any addicts and homeless people in the stairwells.
