UPDATE: They commented on my review saying that they do not have a record to verify me as a tenant when I have a copy of our lease showing that my spouse and I were tenants under WAPM and have reviews and messages from other people who lived in our building confirming what is in my review. Again, I highly encourage you to not to do any type of business with WAPM. Do not rent from them. I have been renting since I was 20 years old and I have never had a bad experience until I rented from Wausau Area Property Management (“WAPM”). Everyone in our building had nothing good to say about them either. They violated the deceptive advertising law by lying in their posting of the units in our building saying that they all had an AC unit. Only one of the four units did. One of the tenants that lived

I’m delayed writing this review, but I am highly frustrated and unsatisfied with this property management. I lived in a 4 unit apartment in Rothschild which was ran by WAPM. When my husband and I moved in, there were several issues with the unit. Several spots on walls with chipped paint/minor holes, closet doors that do not open or shut all the way, mold growing in bathtub, and cat hair everywhere. The unit was not cleaned before we moved in. When we toured the unit we were told the issues were going to be fixed before move in. After being in this unit for less than w week, we had noticed so many bugs. Pill bugs, spiders, centipedes, etc. it was enough for me to contact them. They told us they’d get an exterminator out which I was so grateful for. We had to get the unit exterminated 3 tim

I’ve had such a great experience working with Kevin from Wausau Area Property Management. He’s always been professional, responsive, and genuinely cares about his tenants and properties. Any time I’ve had a question or issue, he’s quick to respond and makes sure things are taken care of right away. I truly appreciate his honesty, attention to detail, and the pride he takes in his work. Highly recommend Kevin and Wausau Area Property Management to anyone looking for a place or needing great management support!

If I could give them a negative 100 review I would we have lived in this house that we rent from them for 5 years and any time something went wrong we would tell them but nothing ever got fixed. Ceiling falling down o to expensive to fix bathroom leaking got mad at us cause we didn't notice it right away. We finally had enough and started finding something new thank God we did cause we where one day late in rent out of the 5 years mind you and they gave us 5 day eviction with 3 small children bye the way this house has mold but hey good luck I hope karma give them what they deserve but ya dont rent from them horrible landlords horrible people I really have nothing nice to say about these people

10/5 stars for the maintenance guys Jake and Kevin. My roof was leaking at 1:30am from a storm and I left a maintenance request at like 9am.. and got a call back within a hour or so. I called back and told them I was at work until a certain time they still met me at my apartment after work. Looked at it and figured out the problem so fast. Very thankful for their help and fast service. Also was very friendly and kind.
