Wouldn't suggest applying for this company really feel like all they want to do it take the application fee and still deny people when clearly they have over priced deposits and don't try and work with people and then don't say why the application was denied. It's impossible to meet with a real person to talk to other than thru email. It's a real company but very high standards and very pricy deposits for units.

Dodge the platinum bullet! TLDR: very poor communication, and seem bent on squeezing dollars out of folks however they can instead of running a legit property management business. I’m fortunate enough to have dodged renting from these folks. I had some email back and forth about a house they were renting out. Every single question/ email I sent required me to re-explain my question as their answer was quick and completely misunderstood the question I had asked. For my fellow business owners, you know that not having normal check stubs makes income proof in situations like this doable but annoying. I had no issues with Platinum. I communicated via email with employees and always got a response, sometimes late at night when i'd be up writing them at 2 in the morning... also, and i really want to emphasize this... they have one of the best maintenance staff I have ever worked with... professional, helpful, kind and prompt... Also, when anything arose online with questions about fees or payments, it was easy to take care of.... for people that complain that they wont work with people with bad credit, etc... hey, to be fair, that's life... If I could give a negative rating I would. Worst move out experience ever. Charged us for a water softener they installed after we moved in that wasn’t on the lease. Charged us multiple times for the same thing on our deposit. Then promised a refund which we didn’t see for months. Followed up and they claimed a “accounting error”. Charged over a thousand dollars to clean and repaint the entire unit even though we didn’t receive fresh paint when we moved in. They’ll pass you from one person to another without ever giving you an answer when you call so you eventually just give up. I cannot express enough, DO NOT rent with these scam artists.

If I could leave a zero I would. From the start of our time dealing with Platinum property management as well as the apartment they manage we have had nothing but problems, lack of communication on their part, not taking care of complaints and right out lied to multiple times by the employees who work for this company. Don’t do business with them or the properties they manage you will have nothing but a headache and financial loss.
