I lived at Watervue at Longview for two years, and unfortunately, my experience went downhill significantly in the second year. Year One: The first year was relatively smooth with no major issues or complaints. Year Two - Problems Began: Parking Issues: Guest parking became a serious problem, making it difficult for visitors. Maintenance Neglect: Maintenance requests went unanswered; they simply never showed up. Elevator broken for months on end, which was alarming for me as a disabled person. Understaffed Leasing Office: Only one person staffs the leasing office, making it nearly impossible to get timely assistance. Unhelpful AI System: The AI customer service was completely unhelpful and couldn't resolve basic issues. Move-Out Nightmare: Despite thoroughly cleaning the apartment, ret
I have lived here for a year and waited before posting anything negative, so the company had a chance to improve. Management doesn't show up to work, and when they, do they don't respond to emails. What do they do??? Where is my money going??? Parking: Imagine getting home late from work and not being able to park anywhere. Management response: do nothing. Imagine paying $180 getting towed and then having the tow company fleece you for cash. I actually called the cops because the tow company was asking for illegal cash only payments. Management response: do nothing. Imagine missing important packages because the office is too lazy to give FedEx a key. Management response: do nothing. Imagine your clothes getting destroyed because the washers so cheap and old. Management response: let
Leaving this place couldn’t come fast enough. Should have looked at the red flags to begin with but I overlooked them. Communication from anyone in the leasing office is pretty much non existent. I thought, “well I don’t need too much, it’ll be fine.” It was…until it wasn’t. Dealt with mold in my unit and zero communication for months despite repeated follow ups. Ultimately the reason I decided to leave. Community lacks amenities. People here obviously do not care about the community and kids throw trash pretty much all over the place. No one picks up their dog poop. Guest parking is zero to none. Tow truck drives around the complex so be prepared. The only positive of this place is the view. That is it.
The apartment itself was even more impressive. The layout was well thought out, the finishes were modern and high quality, and everything appeared well-maintained. The consultant showed me details that many tours skip over—closet space, storage options, appliance functions, and natural light throughout the unit. They answered all my questions patiently and honestly, giving me a realistic understanding of what living there would be like. I really appreciated their transparency regarding unit variations and pricing.
If you enjoy paying premium prices to live in a glorified dumpster with a view, then welcome home. This complex is a masterclass in architectural negligence and managerial incompetence. Beyond the decent square footage and the lake—which you’ll spend most of your time staring at while contemplating your life choices—this place is an absolute hellscape. Maintenance is not just "bad"; it is non-existent. My roof has leaked multiple times, turning my living room into a swamp. Despite frantic calls, management treats a collapsing, moldy ceiling with the same urgency as a burnt-out lightbulb. When they do show up, they apply the equivalent of a Band-Aid to a gunshot wound and disappear for another month. The hygiene standards are stomach-turning. The corridors are perpetually filthy, smelling o
