Walz Properties is AMAZING! The process is so smooth. The apartment is newly renovated! Always responds within an appropriate time. They are friendly and knowledgable. If there's a maintenance problem, they immediately fix it. We (Me, My Mom & My Dad) really appreciate on how they treat they're future tenants & renters. They're professional and happy to help! Very unprofessional. Both dryers at Jewell Manor are currently broken and we haven’t been able to dry our clothes for days. One dryer has been out of service for months. Promised an update today from landlord, but haven’t heard a thing. Maintenance requests here are a nightmare. All of my keys weren’t cut and ready for move-in. No call no shows to scheduled maintenance requests. The landlord and the maintenance employees constantly park in the residents’ parking spots, forcing us to play musical parking spaces with each other over group text. Lots of promises to fix things, but very little actually gets done in a timely manner, if at all. Very unhappy group of residents. All eyes and ears are on you right now, Walz Properties.

Walz properties just took over management of our building boasting that they were going to improve the property. The “improvements” started with then taking personal property from the common area including all the chairs and tables so we have no where to gather. Followed by overflowing garbage, letting the landscape die due to lack of maintenance, poop bags where there used to be beautiful landscape, dead cockroaches, threatening to remove the pool (our main amenity), kicking people out of their garages. In addition we couldn’t do laundry this week due to lack of maintenance of machines. Maintenance issues I had requested to be fixed are at the bottom of their “to do” list. Loved my apartment in OB! Kyle was always super responsive and had great neighbors. But wanted to warn anyone renting through Walz to thoroughly check and save any paperwork done in the upfront as they did not give me my full deposit back. I had a dog for which I paid pet rent and an extra deposit which I did not receive back because they claim it was not collected. Also charged me $200 for painting and $200 for cleaning. Which is a bit excessive even if they did have to cover up any stains on the walls. I’ve added a video of how I left the apartment. Screenshot everything! I should have.

Very unprofessional and incompetent property managers. They never took any of our complaints seriously and tried to gaslight us every time we brought them up. Don't live at Loring Street unless you want to live with mold and bugs :)
