Walden Estates Townhomes

In winter, it's the great depression around here, thanks to the electric bill. It doesn't even feel like there's insulation or, if there is, it's newspaper. The windows are beyond drafty, no difference if I just left them open all winter. A window is broke, as in it falls3 out of the track as soon as you go to use it. Theres a crack in the sink basin of my bathroom that I had to fix on my own so it wouldnt leak in the cupboard. There's another leak that hasn't been fixed after 9 months... they said just not to use what's leaking when I brought it to their attention. Dishwasher line is clogged so it's been 5 mos since I used it. There's always a washer or dryer broken (usually multiple), they're old, outdated, make your clothes smell weird & you don't ever get your money back if you use it

Rick and Ryan were extremely helpful for the maintenance of our apartment! If I could rate them on their own I would give 5 stars. However, due to negligence of work requests for months I have to rate the place overall lower. They have a lot of locations to manage so work requests are filled very slow. Took roughly 6 months for a kitchen repair. They are nice apartments but for $1300+ a month for a 2 bedroom and electric that can range from 100 to 400 in winter, it's not worth it. Location wise is great, but I just wouldn't recommend for the price.

If I could give them a zero star, I would! I would recommend anywhere else but here. I moved to Batavia NY in 2018 for work. I stayed with them for 3 years. You are probably wondering why didn't I move if it was so bad. Because my job required me to train in Batavia with intension to relocate me to a different state (figuring it will be a year until I move). Long story short, the training process took a few years so I ended up staying there since it was close to work and the rent was reasonable. I'd considered myself a very good tenant, who doesn't miss a payment, follow rules, ect. Until things started to go down South, where things needed to be replaced and fixed. No worries, they fixed everything BUT only took me 8 months of waiting and constantly following up on the repairs. Consequen

the staff here at waldens is very polite and easy to work with, the maintance when i have had issues they were there instantly it felt plus there very polite. they take the worries off of you with the ground keeping, the plowing of the driveways and the shoveling of the sidewalks. the townhouses are very comfortable and makes you feel at home. we have lived here for a year and 2 months and really like it here.

So.... $1447 month for 2 bed, electric roughly $500 a month. $2000 month to live in a repainted "project" from the 70's. Aliyah, and Mike however are amazing! I can't fault them for a thing!
