Vista Sands Apartment Homes

I moved to Summerville Vista Sands back in 2023 thinking it was gonna be a fresh new start in a new state and I was very wrong. THIS place is not a good place to live in. The apartments are outdated the tubs rust very easily. They have huge cockroach problems. I don't care if it's the "South" or not they have pest cockroach problems. The office is terrible at responding to anything unless its a "diehard" emergency they will not respond. If you miss any rent payment they charge you over a ridiculous amount of fees and will force you to go to CVS and pay rent. This place is NOT worth the hype. It almost makes you feel like you live in section 8 just a more higher class of it. I had a homeless person break into my apartment via my patio screen in June and they allowed him to stay due to South Carolina laws about squatters even though he was clearly homeless and never signed a lease with me. He was given an eviction and they were notified about this the day it happened and told their lawyer they were unaware of the occurrence. They never helped me remove him. Had to stay in a hotel for two weeks until I had the idea to turn off my wifi and he left after playing cat and mouse with police. Find another place to stay. Theres plenty of choices. Tammy wouldn't know my face if she saw me but I signed my lease with her!

Has made it impossible to actually talk to anyone in management by sending you straight to voicemail then informing you they did not recieve your message when you follow up. Also has hours posted and their open sign up stating we are here but the door is locked. This has happened several times! You can look in the window and see someone sitting in their chair making eye contact with you but just refusing to open the door. Unfortunately I was late on my rent payment which meant I couldn't make an online payment. After I was told by management I could bring a cashiers check I was told upon arrival with the check that they actually just changed their late payment method and they would not accept my check.
