I rarely leave reviews, but after more than a year of ongoing issues with this property, I feel obligated to warn others. My experience over the past year has been nothing short of unacceptable. For over twelve months, I have dealt with a recurring moisture issue in my apartment that has never been properly resolved despite multiple work orders, photos, and repeated follow-ups. Instead of receiving clear communication or meaningful assistance, I’ve been met with disorganization, dismissiveness, and a complete lack of accountability. This place looks & feels like the gettoh.. I visit a friend that lives here sometimes && she's always apologizing for the dirty scenery to get to her apartment. Its actually a health hazard to walk through a building & you can physically see & smell feces & urine everywhere. We walk the hallways or sometimes take the stairs & the smell of urine hits you like a slap in the face. Not to mention the feelinn of your stomach turnin when you take a breath in the elevator from the urine you can smell mixed with cleaning supply. Welcome to vio- You can see the neglect in this place the garage area is actually disgusting, dirty, &sticky this place is the definition of why you don't walk into your apartment with shoes!

I am paying $4,000 per month for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment, and the value does not reflect the cost. Since the change in management, there is rarely anyone available in the leasing office, which has been extremely frustrating when issues arise. The cleanliness of the property has noticeably declined. Common areas are not being properly maintained—the elevators are consistently dirty, and the hallway carpets are heavily stained. Under the current management, residents are treated inconsistently and unfairly. Cars are towed without warning while other vehicles parked in the same areas are left untouched. One tow costs $410!!! and management provides no accountability. Maintenance staff will argue with residents about “rules” that were never communicated by email or notice. I’d like to commend Alex, the maintenance supervisor at Vio Apartments. One Sunday evening, I accidentally hit a curb at the CVS parking lot in South San Jose and ended up with a flat tire that needed to be replaced before I could drive to a tire shop. Having never changed a tire before, I was following a YouTube tutorial, trying to figure it out. That’s when Alex walked over with his children and offered to help. He quickly and skillfully replaced the tire while showing me how to do it myself. I was deeply appreciative of his kindness. He didn’t hesitate to get his hands dirty, all while setting a wonderful example for his kids — truly a great role model and a good Samaritan.
