Villas at Bandera

Read* Read* Read* DO NOT MOVE IN!!!! I originally went in to apply on July 10th. Got approved with a move in date of the 28th. Went to move in yesterday. The “property manager” Esteban handed me the keys to my apartment himself and all things were checked off his board like my apartment was ready but you can clearly see it was not inspected. I walk in and find cheese wrappers all over the apartment along with trash and a horrid smell which says it hasn’t been touched since the previous tenant. They moved my move in date to the 2nd and now I have to find a hotel for a few days and schedule more time off work to accommodate for the mess up. They refuse to reimburse me or give me a discount since it was their fault. THEY BREECHES THE CONTRACT! Wish I would have seen the reviews before I signe

My wife and I lived here for a year and honestly overall it has been a really good experience. This has been a great location for my family. We felt safe here and never had any problems with neighbors. The price of rent was very fair especially compared to other apartments in the area. When looking for apartments the other apartments asked for way more and offered less. The office was always helpful whenever I had any questions and the time I did have an issue with a bathroom faucet we put in a work order and they came out quick and fixed the issue. We would have definitely renewed our lease but we got an offer to move into a house so we took that offer. I would highly recommend these apartments!

The Villas at Bandera property was clean and inviting, which made for a nice first impression. I had a great experience touring with Anthony as well. He’s very well informed and friendly, which made me feel like I was in good hands the whole time and he truly wanted to help me. I appreciated him taking the time to answer my questions (I had a lot, sorry!) and provide me with all the necessary information needed to make a decision. The property has a great team working there and I appreciated the friendly, professional staff (Anthony) that took care of me during my visit. Moving is stressful, but he helped eliminate my concerns. Thank you again!

We have lived in this apartment for two years, and maintenance has been an ongoing issue. We repeatedly reported a serious mold and water damage problem in the bathroom ceiling and along the shower wall. Despite multiple requests, nothing was properly addressed for a long time. This week, maintenance finally came out, but instead of fixing the root cause, they simply covered the damaged areas. The mold and staining were not properly removed, and no clear repair to the underlying leak or moisture issue was made. Covering it without resolving the source does not fix the problem. It is frustrating to deal with unresolved health and safety concerns after two years. Rent is paid on time, and in return we expect safe and adequately maintained living conditions.
