I lived at the Hollister Creek Apartment for 18 months. Neighbors are nice but I can’t say the same to the management. I lived here for 18 months and when they came in to do pre move out inspection, they say that the baseboard needs to be repainted. Who the heck keeps the baseboard dirty? And they say that I need to shampoo the carpet. I don’t even wear shoes in the apartment. The management will not hesitate to claim your security deposit money to turn the apartment for next tenant. The complex is decades old, you will see lousy painting jobs to cover existing damages everywhere. They patched holes on bedroom doors with paperboard and you can literally put your finger through. I’ve been renting a 2-bedroom on Idaho Street for over a year. My wife passed away suddenly and I could no longer afford the rent. I was told that I would be first in line for a 1-bedroom, so I continued paying the huge rent sum. I paid my rent on time each month, had no issues, and was an incredible tenant. Property manager Chad Mcabe made me move to a M2M lease, even though I intended to stay in this building, which was even more expensive. Two days ago I noticed one of the 1-bedrooms being shown. I had to track the property manager down via his LinkedIn, since his contact information was nowhere to be found. Highly misleading. They posted a one-bedroom for rent on Craigslist for $900. When I got in touch with the agency, they said it was $1,795 a month. It’s just dishonest and it’s a waste of everyone’s time.

Very good management, responsive. Been a happy tenant for several years and anytime we need facilities to come, they are prompt and courteous.
