View 14

I called View14 home for 4.5 years and absolutely loved my apartment. It had the right mix of space (730 square feet), unbeatable location, and price. My apartment on the fifth floor had a balcony with a lovely view and was also quiet and relaxing. I almost never heard my neighbors. The staff at the front desk and who clean the building are all warm and professional. My packages were always well taken care of. Any issue I raised for maintenance was addressed quickly. I had fantastic grocery stores (Streets, TJs, and Whole Foods), cafes (Tatte, La Colombe, Spark), 9:30 Club/Atlantis, the metro, and countless bars all within a short walking distance. As with all buildings, there is room for improvement. But on the whole, I’d really recommend living at View14.

This apartment has had most of what I'm looking for. Most spaces are clean, the management responds quickly and effectively when concerns arise, the gym is very nice for an apartment gym, and the rooms are very nice. There is also no issue with noise within the apartment and it is quiet enough to be able to study or sleep without disturbances. Shoutout to Russel who made moving in easy and has dealt with every issue I have had with professionalism.

Love living here — quiet, clean, and well kept. The team is kind and always helpful.

Donel Phillips is my favorite at the front desk! Always greets us with a smile, and goes the extra mile. He’ll deliver packages to our door if they don’t fit in the package lockers. Really refreshing to have someone who knows us at the desk!! Lucky to have him!!

Whatever you do - don't live here. I’d been living in DC for almost four years before moving to View 14. I am now moving out after two years because the management of this building has been awful since day one. Here is a quick recap of just some of the issues: 1. When I initially moved, the Wi-Fi wasn't working. It turns out the cable had been cut when the last person moved out. (Mind you, I took a vacant unit, so they had plenty of time to realize this.) I spent a little over a week going back and forth, trying to get answers about when this would be fixed. Only for them to ultimately say, it wasn't their problem because it was inside my unit and it was my issue to deal with. I then spent another week and several follow-up emails trying to speak with someone because why should I pay for
