Vesta Parkside

When I first moved into Vesta this place was a dream. The property is very nice, it’s up-kept well, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Maintenance also comes super quick, like file the work order at 10am and they’re knocking on your door by 1pm. If you’re a fan of walking trails then this location is great because the Anacostia trail and park are so close. The location of the orange line is also super convenient. Also two grocery stores and Navy Yard are a 10 minute drive away and there’s plenty of street parking if you don’t want to pay for the garage. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because after the management change in March, I feel some of my satisfaction has decreased. It’s a beautiful building. The gym is nice, the outdoor bbq area is always clean and serene, and the community room is beautiful with a beautiful view of DC and MD. And the sunset views are breathtaking 💕

I’ve been a resident of Vesta Parkside for about a year and a half, and I have enjoyed my time at the property. I was drawn to the building because it seemed quiet yet full of friendly staff and residents, and I have found that to be true during my time here. Matilda and Alex are great at welcoming residents and managing the property, and they ensure that the common areas are clean and well-maintained. Stephan does a wonderful job of leading the maintenance staff. I’ve never had any major issues, and they always respond to my requests within a few hours. The neighborhood is still developing and you will see that sometimes, but it’s nothing abnormal for living in a city. This review is long overdue. We lived at Vesta Parkside from May 2022 - August 2024. I highly recommend this apartment building and we honestly would of stayed longer if we were able to. There are a lot of pros to this building but there are obviously issues with any place you will live. I’ll go into details of all of which below. Pros: - The Vesta Parkside team (leasing office, security, concierge, maintenance, and cleaners) are so friendly, approachable and helpful. This has hands down be the best apartment staff that I have ever experienced and what I think is the biggest pro. Since before we moved in they have been exceptional. Terrible management since new management came in about march rarely will respond to they try hard to avoid you try to take advantage of their residents if you don’t park in garage and park in street your car will likely get damaged or ticketed I advise to look else where until this current management team is gone
