Vesta City Park Apartments

Shunnel was such a great leasing agent! We showed up in already nervous about finding a place because I was set to sign a lease elsewhere earlier in the day, but upon arriving to the other property we quick found it was not going to be a good fit after doing a final walkthrough. I looked up apartments in the area and drove straight to the office. I did not have appointment, but Shunnel was extremely attentive and encouraging. I am looking forward to staying in such a well maintained property with incredible staff and service!

This property will bait you in with cheap rent, and then jack up the rate at renewal. After only living here for 7 months, my renewal went up $2,000 which is a 10% increase in less than a year. This is a common tactic for properties owned by large corporations - they will increase your rent to the same price it would cost you to move, in hopes that you will give them the money instead of moving out. When I asked the leasing office why my rent went up so much, they never responded and tried to send another renewal offer that was still 8.5% higher (why are we outpacing inflation here?). When I went to the office in person and asked them to explain, they advised they don’t set the renewal rate and have no power to change it because it is decided by a team somewhere. I wish I could say this

I would like to show my most gracious gratitude and appreciation to Chanel and Brandon for their outstanding customer service, which was excellent their thoroughness of understanding their job and their courteousness for being so considerate I am a senior citizen, and I really needed their help. They were marvelous. They have outstanding professionalism that will definitely be a service to your company again I appreciate all the help that they have given through the entry of becoming a member of the city park Family.

I am one of the first residents to have leased an apartment here when they were first built in 2020. I must say that there have been many leasing agents and managers to come and go, but I’m so relieved to know that Ms. Michele is back!! She was a great leasing agent almost 2 years ago before she left and now that she’s back as the manager, I couldn’t be more excited and relieved! The property has seen it’s decline over the years due to unclean and inconsiderate tenants as well as several past members of the lazy leasing staff that weren’t friendly and and seemed to not care about what went on here. About to move out after 2+ years at Vesta so wanted to share my experience. I have lived at Fountains in Matthews, a downtown Plaza Midwood apartment, Uptown Charlotte apartment, and rented in a house in Cotswold & Concord in the past almost 10 years in Charlotte. Vesta has been a favorite apartment complex. Getting to know Brandi and Genesis in the office has been great, and they are pretty real with you as leasing agents. They will advocate for you to the best of their abilities and care that you are having a good living experience at Vesta. In terms of the apartment, it is fairly new. I am at minimum the 2nd resident in my unit. There were some minor cosmetic issues in my apartment, but the maintenance is great and will fix any issues that they can in a quick manner.
