I am incredibly impressed by this apartment building. It is located in the heart of North Loop by the Guthrie, and the Stone Arch Bridge. It has many stunning views of the North Loop neighborhood and primarily overlooks the Mississippi River, and the extensive riverfront trails (part of the Grand Rounds). Some apartments offer views of the downtown Minneapolis skyline and the historic Mill District. There's plenty of natural scenery from the river and green spaces nearby, and urban views of the city. As for the inside of the building, you can find many community spaces. There is a golf simulator, a billiards table, a kombucha and hot chocolate machine a gym and so much more. The entrance feels very safe and secure and it appears that there is a front desk right off of the entryway. My
I lived in Vesi for four years, and while the early years were great, the building has gone downhill under the current management. There have been multiple serious security incidents and each time, residents voiced honest concerns—yet the manager’s response was dismissive, blame-shifting, and completely lacking in empathy. While I’m sure the manager only has so much power to enact the needed changes requested by residents, it is their lack of empathy when speaking with residents that adds insult to injury. That coupled with no attempt to get to know residents or exchange greetings in common spaces leaves you feeling like a line item on a spreadsheet instead of an actual resident in your home. Thankfully, the front desk, maintenance, and cleaning staffs are absolutely wonderful and do tre
If you are a young professional DO NOT call this place your home. For many years I loved this place. Then new management was hired. They lack any professionalism OR concern for your safety.
As a longtime resident, I would have rated Vesi 5+ stars just six months ago. Unfortunately, since the arrival of the new Property Manager, Kaileigh O., the building has experienced a complete shift in atmosphere and management. Kaileigh has single-handedly disrupted the sense of community at Vesi. She is unwelcoming, unhelpful, and does not prioritize the safety or well-being of the residents who call this building home. Among those who have lived here for years, it is unanimous: she is the most unqualified employee this building has ever had. After a major safety breach, Kaileigh’s "solution" encouraged residents to put themselves in vulnerable situations instead of advocating for our safety—showing clearly that resident safety is not her concern. When the matter was escalated to the Re
My wife and I lived at Vesi for two years. It was the best apartment living experience that my wife and I have ever had. This place felt like home, neighbors were great and the staff were extremely helpful, attentive and thoughtful. They all deserve a raise! During move out we hit a few speed bumps in our plan and Drea, Yeni, and DQ went above and beyond making sure that we had everything that we needed. They stayed late to ensure that we had a comfortable place to sleep on our last night in town offering some small conveniences to make the whole process so much easier. Kayla and Chaz were both amazing as well and I am sure if they had been working that day they would have done the same. If we weren’t moving out of state I don’t know if we ever would have moved out. The amenities are some
