They allow kids in both pools defeating the purpose of separating them. So pay your fee and enjoy being splashed by kids no matter which way you go.

I have lived here for almost 10 years, the location in front of the lake is always nice. The sidewalk around the lake is a nice place to take your dogs on daily walks, and the playground is fun too (I like swings..) The employees at the HOA building keep the pools and gym maintained properly.

I have been living here since 1988 when the rec center was a dump. Moved back in 1994 wasn't much better. But now I go and it's great. The weight room has transformed into a great gym. The 2 pools are maintained every day. Signs up to accompany children or banned. Before kids used to run wild and steal my kids pool stuff. Pleasantly surprised the changes in last couple years. I now use pool for exercise.

The people who were there was very rude and tried to start issues for no reason.i just wanted to go to the pool with my family and some people tried to cause issues. The older gentleman who is the one who does the maintenance and watches the pool didn't help and only let them cause more problems..it's said my mom pays to be able to go to the pool and igronance that they showed was sad.

Please do not rent or buy in the highlands. HOA is im leage with rodger fountain even allowed him to use their name in a post to me that was disrspectful and horrid. This is a joke.To clarify everything. Was told i would be fined for my garage door being open well his is open all day such as today.
