Veranda at Auburn Pointe

Most of what I have read is true,but much was left off. It was at one time a pleasure to be a place to call home,not any more. Voice concerns,and see hand hidden reprecusions. I was at one time happy at Veranda at Auburn Point. It's best I keep my opinion to myself. The GOOD staff that come soon disappear.

My mom lives at Veranda Auburn Pointe senior apartments and the living conditions are deplorable. The facility is roach infested, the entrance and exit security gate is consistently broken and my mom and daughter got stuck on the elevator trying to get to her 2nd floor apartment with grocery. They do not have onsite management therefore work orders for falling light fixtures in the kitchen and beeping smoke detectors and malfunctioning elevators go unnoticed for weeks. The roaches can be seen crawling outside of the apartment doors and they are simply told by maintenance that they know what the issue is and will fix but never follow through after numerous pest control requests. Veranda use to be a nice place for the seniors. (That was 8 years ago) lately the elevators hasn't been working, the maintenance doesn't do anything around the apartments the office staff barley works. When they do come they at like they are so busy and don't have much time for the residents. You see them when it's rent time. The 1st floor alarm is always going off especially on the weekends. Know one comes to turn them off. I haven't seen a courtesy officer there in quite some time.

Called the management today to get them to turn off the loud alarm that had been sounding for hours on the first floor. They said that they would send someone the next day. I insisted that someone come the same day because the sound was deafening making it near impossible to sleep. They said that it wasn’t that loud and hung up!

I've been trying to get a 1 bedroom for 2 years and haven't been able to get into an apartment yet
