Striking building with beautifully finished apartments and an unbeatable lakefront location. The substantial, sound-insulated doors significantly reduce train noise. I would gladly continue living here if I weren’t purchasing a home. Britany, the Leasing Manager, is very kind, communicative, and helpful. Highly recommend the Ventana!

If it weren’t for the trains and the HVAC noise, this review would be A+. The apartments are very well managed by Michael Barthels, and Tyler responds to problems 24/7. Our apartment at the front of the building has a great view of Wayzata and Lake Minnetonka. The problem is the trains, which run all day and night on tracks just on the other side of Lake Street, and the HVAC system, which drowns out conversation and TV. Between 7 am and 10 pm, there is regular train traffic across from the building. The trains are loud, and they sound their horns as they cross an intersection a block away. If you have a child with an 8 pm bedtime, as we do, or if you just want some early sleep, expect to be jolted awake at 9:30 pm.
