Valley Pines Apartments

The first part of my residency there was great. The management has always been nice and supportive and they seemed to have really cared and there was a sense of community. Jen and Carl were great and did everything they could to be of service to the residents. It's guardian management who is being unethical in their dealings with residents on all levels. DO NOT rent on the second floor of the North Building. It is filthy WITH ROACHES. You ll see when you walk down the hall, they refurbished the apartments, but didn't replace the carpet in the hallway. I had cochroaches from May of 2024 when I moved in there and they sprayed 5x until October of this year. I have been dealing with cockroaches since last March In my very clean apartment . I don't leave dishes out. I don't put trash in my trash except for Paper paper. If I have other trash, it's rinsed put into a bag and put it into my freezer until I can take it out. This situation is that bad. I opened a cupboard while cooking and one fell into my soup. Disgusting! The last time they came in and sprayed they might've been in here five minutes and absolutely nothing changed. It causes so much anxiety to be so clean and still have that kind of filth. 649 3rd floor

The maintenance guy who is new does a great job but has lied to the company which in turn has the manager and her assistant believing garbage that is NOT true. I've known him for 38 years and for past 4 been together but he has lied I was falsely arrested accused of things and 86ed. Now he is saying I have nothing there and that's beyond a lie and I can not go there and if I did I would be arrested. I'm having to take legal action now because of management and their inappropriate behavior on Wednesday. Beyond mortified and disgusted with how they acted. They are a joke.

Most disrespectful front staff. I had an appointment and just asked where the specific unit was. Front office was completely rude and acted like I was asking for private information when I had the apartment number.

The new management is unfortunate here, they are not enforcing rules and insulating people here who abuse substances and threaten their neighbors. This complex is notorious for substance use and police problems the new management is repugnant and arbitrary about enforcing rules in a way that makes people less safe. New management here has been coercsive and threatening to try to stop residents from reporting threats they get from people using substances.
