Valencia Pointe Apartments

I recently came to the apartments to spend time with my niece and her family. The building was beautiful with cheerful colors and areas. I was surprised to see how well the building was maintained. The hallways on all floors were very clean. Elevators were clean and functioned well. Common area were spotless. This was particularly impressive considering we often saw children playing in the well appointed playground and other common areas. The playground was safe, clean and functional and my granddaughter used it often to play with other children in the complex. We took many walks around the property and all was well kept with no trash or poorly maintained spaces in sight. The parking garage was safe with fob entry, quiet and very clean. I’ve lived in this building for over a year now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best-managed properties I’ve ever called home. The cleanliness is top-notch—common areas are always spotless, and the attention to detail is impressive. The management team is responsive, professional, and genuinely cares about residents. And the maintenance crew? Absolute rockstars. They’re fast, friendly, and always go the extra mile to keep everything running smoothly. Living here feels like a breath of fresh air!

I have been a tenant for over a year. My time here has been good. I came from a past toxic rental environment, living here has been a relief. My apartment is clean, no worries about random people in my assigned spot. The manager Ms. Irena is hands on, takes care of business and ultimately wants the best for our community. I normally don’t leave reviews, but this place has been such a nightmare that I feel like people need to know what they’re signing up for before moving in. From day one, my experience here has been full of stress, frustration, and disappointment. First, the noise level is out of control. There are kids constantly running up and down the halls, screaming at all hours, banging on doors, and being outright rude to tenants. It doesn’t matter if it’s early in the morning or late at night you can expect to be woken up or kept awake. I understand kids play, but this is on another level. Pros- San Diego’s version of “affordable” , new building and appliances, washer dryer hookup with low rental of appliances, I like the front desk lady (she’s always very respectful and helpful to me ), centrally located , underground parking The cons are mostly related to some residents with the biggest issues being the unsupervised kids and the trash in common places if maintenance isn’t there to clean up but I don’t really blame that on the property management. Recommendation- let our guests use a few of those parking spots, rather then letting that tow truck make money off of people.
