Vail Manor (55+)

I had lived at Vail Manor for 2 years. Overall, the apartment is nice, and location is perfect. I feel safe walking around the outside of the apartments. Of course, there are some minor issues as in many places. Unfortunately, there is a big problem with the laundry facilities, especially in building 2. Every month some machines are broken which leave us with 2 washing machines and 2 dryers for 3 floors of residents. These past 3 week we only have one washing machine! This is an over 55 years old residents' apartment so there are a lot of seniors many of them can barely walk or carry heavy loads with their hands. Now that one machine is also broken! In spite of several calls, nothing has been done.

They don't plow the parking lot out in time during a snowstorm and there is no 24 hour maintenance service here as advertised You can wait weeks before you get repairs done and there's no generator here to protect seniors

It's a nice place to live if you're into peace and quiet.

I am happy living here with the excellent security of the dwelling. The only issue are with the run down, antiquated appliances, however many of them have been already replaced. The tenants and Alex, the overseer are very nice and helpful, I appreciate his assistance every time I need help or repair. Thank you and looking forward to stay here long term.

I have lived at Vail Manor since October 2014 and have generally been very satisfied with my experience. The maintenance people have taken care of anything I need very quickly and are always pleasant. The building and grounds are taken care of. For me, having mail, trash and the laundry inside on the first floor is one of the main things that made me rent here. I just wish something would be done with the exterior doors. They are difficult to open and don't open all the way. I use a wheelchair and it is an issue. Otherwise I have no complaints and my neighbors are very nice.
