Shuttle is constantly broken down, the apartment won't rent a replacement, and it doesn't come to campus at predictable times, so you'll either miss it because it came fifteen minutes early, or have to wait 30 minutes to get picked up with no way to tell where it is at any given moment. Maintenance has refused to fix the unglued floorboards that have been coming up ever since we moved in, pest control hasn't stopped by since they said it would to take care of the building-wide cockroach problem, and communication is sparse, late, or nonexistent regarding things like lapse in service, delays, or fire drills. The front desk staff and shuttle driver are very nice and the community events are fun. But overall, I can't help but be increasingly frustrated with management.

BEWARE of University Village Apartments! This property is notorious for unfair move-out charges and withholding security deposits. During our stay, management even threatened to charge us for maintenance issues that were not our responsibility. Upon moving out, they charged for normal wear and tear on furniture that was already low quality to begin with. The furniture provided is cheaply made, shows normal use quickly, and then they attempt to bill residents at full replacement cost. When disputing the charges, management refused to reduce or remove them, despite their obligations. On top of this, the community gate is essentially useless the code never changes, the gate is often left open, and it is rarely repaired. Bottom line: Save yourself the stress and money. There are plenty of

This place sucks. The gate consistently doesn’t work properly. Their maintenance team is way too loud in the morning. Their communication isn't great. I got charged for damages that were non existent. My roommate is being threatened with being sent to collections over a damaged mattress. They refuse to show how the mattress looked before “damages”. The AC broke as well and there was a black mold problem near the faucet as well

1. Expensive rent (they increased by thousands for the year) and shady business practices 2. Bugs 3. Broke gate 4. Crime This is the second time that people have come and broken into cars. Now mine was targeted. Good god find a better place to live! There are so many other options.

We recently moved out of UV2505. Overall, our experience living there was fine, but I want to share a caution for future renters. Upon move-out, we were charged for several minor items (dirty stove, sink, etc.), which was hard to dispute since we were the first one to move out. However, we were also hit with a $210 charge for a stain on the plastic mattress that was already there when we moved in. Since we used a mattress topper and bedding, we didn’t notice it right away and didn’t think to report it at move-in. Unfortunately, management refused to remove the charge even though it was clearly a pre-existing issue. My student has lived in other apartments, and while similar issues have come up, management at those places typically accepted reasonable appeals. In this case, UV2505 was very
