I lived here for a year and a half. Overall the apartments were pretty nice. It is definitely built cheap for the most part (as most apartments are, even the nice ones.) The only problem with that is they are some of the most expensive apartments in Sioux Falls. They do have plenty of amenities that most apartments don't in Sioux Falls. This would make paying higher rent much more bearable in most cases. However they charge you for most of the amenities. And not a small fee either. They also charge a cancellation fee on all of these amenities if you cancel one of them before your lease is up. So theres no trying them out, you either stick with them for the full lease term or get a fairly large charge. It is also not a small fee. The management overall seems somewhat unprofessional, extrem
I lived in this complex for about 4 years and overall, it was a good place to live. The management team is professional, the area is safe, and issues are always handled quickly. The buildings (both inside and out) are kept very clean, and the amenities are amazing. That being said, like most apartment buildings, your experience will largely depend on your neighbors. Noise can be an issue, you will likely hear other neighbors at all times of the day/night like music, TV's, cooking, basically everything. If peace and quiet are a priority for you, you might want to keep that in mind before moving in, but I think that's a risk you take at most apartments anyway. Overall a good place to live.
These guys are unprofessional. I have contacted our state housing board and filed a complaint. I also got multiple quotes on what it would take to fix what i supposedly did. I have also filed a complaint with the IRS what between the qoutes I got from professional contractors and what they charged for so "called" damage is ridiculous. They legally have to report where every penny is going. I have talked to a lawyer about this they legally have to show where every penny they are trying to charge me for is going. They refuse to show me this proof which is shady. I have been renting for 20 years never in that tine I had to reach out and get legal advice. Once I have enough proof what they are doing is illegal. I AM REACHING OUT TO KSFY AND ARGUS AND EXPOSING THESE GUYS. Soon everyone in Sioux
Well I waited to write a review, hoping management would reach out first, but they don't care it seems. I had an extremely rude and unprofessional tour provided by Joan, this woman went so far as to shut the lights off on me while viewing, after she showed up 5 minutes late and wanted to end the tour 5-10 early, it was like her doing her job was a giant inconvenience. The only saving grace was a maintenance man distracted her so I did get to look more and ask questions of the actual professional on the tour a Mandy. Mandy and Joan are night and day Joan cold standoffish and rude, Mandy polite, willing to answer questions. One thing though is both openly admit they won't do move out inspections with tenant, which SD consumer protection actually requires is tenant request so more training of
I visited this building to see a family member who lives there and our experience was extremely negative. The staff was hostile and rude from the start. A neighbor complained about us and without any prior warning, my family member had his access privileges revoked. He was suddenly barred from using the gym or parking in the garage. While my kids and I were playing table soccer and pool, a staff member approached us in an unprovoked, aggressive manner. Instead of calmly asking about our visit, she interrogated us about what we were doing there, demanded to know who we were with, and wouldn’t even let me explain. She treated us like criminals, questioning how we got into the building and ultimately telling us we had to leave. As a result, my relative was blocked from entering the building
