University Heights Apartments

The staff is extremely unprofessional and unfriendly. On multiple occasions, they hung up on me during phone calls. They sent an email asking me to move my car only one hour before a scheduled snow plow, when such notice should have been given at least a day in advance. The overall environment is poorly maintained—there was bird droppings on my emergency exit that no one bothered to clean up. The conditions are unhygienic and unacceptable. Also, there are mice in the apartment.

Obviously rent is high everywhere and the for-profit housing system is morally deplorable but I received a decently sized space for my monthly rate and the staff responds to inquiries quickly and efficiently, very kind people. Utilities work great and the written agreements with the local energy companies are comprehensible and fair for the tenant. nice work!

Mike the supervisor Victor Jose they are absolutely a fabulous team. The best Maintenance team since I moved in here two years ago. Professional Empathetic Knowledgeable as we'll as courteous. Almost 5 months living in these apartments and I haven't had a single good experience. Anything that gets repaired is done with cheap material. They want to charge for any little thing that needs to get repaired. And they are charging for water and sewer illegally.

University Heights has a major concern as a resident. Inconsistent utilities. Today marks the 4th or 5th time since our lease began in June of last year that our water has been shut off for at least 5 hours or more. Today we were informed with no notice that our water was getting shut off for emergency repairs. This has been a typical occurrence for us. While we sometimes get a few hours of notice the estimates have never once been accurate and the water is consistently off for approximately 2-3 hours beyond the estimate provided. When I attempt to call and rectify the issue there is nothing offered as far as compensation or additional solutions. We have been without water since 10:15am (6.5 hours in total) and are being provided an estimate now of 2-3 more hours without water. In addition
