Union West

I just moved in here and I love it,it's not perfect but that's ok.the management is great they are so helpful and professional,they handle business and keep the place looking nice, I think they are over whelmed sometimes with some of the residents but I guess that's to be expected. The unit I have is an amazing 2 bed 2 bath very large with beautiful views ,we love the coffee machine on the 3rd floor it gets my elderly mother motivated to get out of the apartment and mingle. The lobby is beautiful and I love that there is a parking garage and no hidden fees ! I feel like I found the rite fit for me and my mother. I definitely recommend checking this place out .best 📸 ever!

Not a bad location, and I like the apartment overall. Recently, management did a big garage cleaning and relocation, and cars left inside were moved and charged a relocation fee. They technically notified everyone by email, but no text alerts or door notices, which would’ve prevented a lot of frustration. The subject line made it seem like a routine maintenance update, so I didn’t realize it required action right away. It feels like they did the bare minimum legally required. They could’ve at least changed the subject line to make it clear cars needed to be moved. Not terrible, but pretty annoyed. Edit: Management responded quickly and adjusted their communication process after my feedback (for a different maintenance issue). Nice to see they take feedback seriously. Overall, I'm happy wi

The amenities are ok... If they are open and working but that is rare. You get to be serenaded by howling dogs left home alone for hours day and night. If you need anything fixed or replaced it's months before it's fixed if it's fixed at all. They have an office staff that lies or hides in the back area until closing and they have no problem ignoring requests that are medically necessary and an appliance that is part of your monthly rent. Save yourself the trouble and go to the multiple other apartment complexes in the same area.

RENTER'S BEWARE - CRIMINAL ACTIVITY & BREAK-INS Unless things have changed, those fancy electronic keys you use to get into the building and your apartment have been cloned using a device known as Flipper Zero. LOOK IT UP - this device had just come out when I was living there and was not well known yet, but I now have proof this was how the thieves were getting into my apartment. (Does the key look familiar in the attached picture? Looks just like mine did when I lived at Union West) I was the victim of several break ins that management refused to acknowledge or turn over security cam footage when there was an active case with Lakewood PD. Recently moved out after having lived here for a little under 3 years. Overall experience was excellent. The property is well kept, the few maintenance issues I experienced were addressed promptly and did not re-occur. The pool and fitness center amenities are routinely clean and ready to be enjoyed. I also appreciated the assigned spot parking garage, and never experienced any issues relating to my vehicle. Finally, my experience interacting with any of the staff was always pleasant, as mentioned maintenance was prompt, and everyone in the main office, Bobby, Matt, and Alyxis are always friendly, approachable, and willing and able to solve any issues.
