Terrible management company. Not sure how they have such a high rating..? The maintenance people never seem to show up. They make the maintenance request portal easy, but no one shows up! Except when I needed keys they decided to come into the apartment unannounced, without telling me prior that they’d be coming. When moving in, the apartment wasn’t ready, they basically said to pound sand when asked for some compensation for this. They didn’t prorate rent or anything. Didn’t pay for the hotel, and I’m not sure if they even said sorry. There seems to be major miscommunication with their leasing office and their maintenance team, which is how this happened. I’d never recommend these people to anyone, but they maybe better than some of Pittsburgh’s worst landlords, but I’m not too sure if

Union Real Estate maintains their properties to high standards of cleanliness; they regularly renovate apartments; their agents are respectful and responsive to any questions or problems. And, of the companies who allow pets, the buildings do not have an odor! If you are looking to rent in Pittsburgh, look up Union Real Estate! Their rates are comparable and their properties well cared for and the company cares for the well bring of their tenants!

In the beginning of my brother renting an apartment from URE, the experience was mixed. His leasing agent (name redacted) was mostly unresponsive. This continues until this day. However, David is amazing and so helpful! He really looks out for the people who live in the building! My brother recently needed answers; went unanswered. Then, we were connected with Tyler Loffredo. Truly the best customer service I have experienced in some time. He was kind, understanding, and handled what needed to be handled quickly. I certainly appreciate knowing that my brother is getting what he needs! Thank you, David and Tyler!

Great location and friendly neighbors! The staff is amazing and always there to help. I give this place a high recommendation! It's tucked away in a very nice neighborhood of South Park. Yummy places to eat near by, too!

I am giving a review on the COMMERCIAL side of Union Real Estate (URE) and not on their residential side. I found URE because I inquired upon a commercial space that I was interested in for my new business. I loved the location, the space square footages, and I loved the retail shopping plaza that the space was in. I met and worked with Mr. Ed K. and I must say he was kind, understanding, responsive and professional. We struck up a deal and mutually agreed on a wonderful lease which made me felt that URE respected and valued me as their commercial tenant. I’ve worked with great commercial landlords in my years as a business owner and definitely know one when I meet them. URE and Ed are them.
