Twenty Exchange

I have lived at 20 Exchange for nearly 16 years. I love the building, the staff, and overall the entire experience. You are greeted warmly when you return home from work each day by people who are more than just doormen, but truly friends after so many years. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently. The Resident Manager is responsive and efficient. The management team is working hard to improve the community experience for tenants. My husband and I love it here. It's not just an apartment we are renting. In fact, I have never lived longer in one place in my life. It's truly home. And look at these views. :)

I toured 20 Exchange and was so impressed from start to finish! The building is absolutely beautiful, modern, clean, and full of great amenities. The staff was friendly, professional, and made the entire tour experience so welcoming. You can tell they really care about the residents and take pride in the property. The apartments themselves are stunning with high-end finishes and great layouts. I ultimately had to move out of the city, but if I were staying in NYC, 20 Exchange would’ve been at the top of my list. Highly recommend checking it out!

Just moved in. This place is perfect and somewhat affordable. Extremely convenient, the staff is incredibly nice. From what I have seen from prior reviews, it looks like the new building management has turned this place around. I am looking forward to the new gym this summer!

We love the staff and location of the building, but it's definitely not a "luxury building" experience. When we signed a 1.5-year lease, full access to the building’s amenities was a major factor in our decision. At no point during touring or leasing were we informed that these amenities would later be closed for extensive renovations. We’ve gone a significant portion of our lease without access to amenities we are still paying for, with renovations expected to continue until the end of the year or later... Management proposed a substantial rent increase this year that does't reflect the current living conditions, particularly given the prolonged loss of amenities. We tried to negotiate in good faith for a more modest increase that better aligns with the reduced access and ongoing disrup

Terrible leasing process. Do not waste your time and money. I applied for an apartment, paid for the application for myself and was told the apartment was now on hold for me and that no one else would be able to apply for the apartment. Then I got an email saying they were giving the apartment to someone else the next day. They never answer the phones and this entire process was so unprofessional. Now I am out $60 bucks that I cannot get back and they told me it is not their fault and there is nothing they can do... after INSURING that once I applied no one else would be able to.
