Troy Hills Village

This community is military veteran-friendly. As a veteran, I’m speaking from my experience, and I’ve found it very welcoming, including for those with service dogs. As a service dog owner with a Pit Bull, I really appreciate that pets of all sizes and breeds are allowed, creating an inclusive environment where responsible pet owners are respected. Maintenance and Management do a great job answering work requests and takes care of things promptly. The grounds are kept clean year-round. The pool and landscaping are well-maintained in the summer, and snow removal in the winter is handled as best as possible. The apartments are spacious, and family-oriented. Overall, it’s a friendly, well-maintained place to call home.

Upon entering Troy Hills Village you’ll see an extremely broken down / dated “fence” that instantly makes the entire apartment complex look ghetto. I can’t believe this has not been knocked down and upgraded considering my rent is sky high. It’s such an eye sore. For the most part I do enjoy living here besides the laundry. The laundry rooms are an absolute nightmare (and I’ve tried multiple on premise) The machines are dirty and if a machine isn’t working it takes weeks and weeks to fix. Laundry room floors / the tops of the machines are filthy and overall they aren’t maintained well. They allow any sized dogs here so a lot of people have pitbulls. The premises unfortunately have become dirty. I’ll blame it on this winter and so much snow in the way but there is trash stuck in bushes, in

Very clearly defined process from onboarding to offboarding. I enjoyed living in this community. Very peaceful and beautiful surrounding, sufficient parking slots and more. Especially I liked maintenance, I just call 24/7 complaint number for any issue and get the issue resolved without any delay/pain. Good community in all aspects. It would be wonderful if they can alter and provide in unit laundry.

julie, the property manager, has been beyond helpful to me since i got here .. there have been some issues i needed help with and she has honestly gone above and beyond .. she has always been super responsive, receptive, and informative .. and very very kind .. and has never, not once , made me feel that i was bothering her, despite reaching out to her quite often .. i am very grateful for all of the help sorting myself out!! thank you julie!!

This apartment complex feels like New York. I say New York for following reasons - 1. Small roads 2. Crooked parking 3. Angry management and neighbors 4. Poorly insulated apartments 5. Rats 🐀 and Rat Traps 🪤 6. Roaches 🪳 7. Always dusty 8. Lazy maintenance guys (few) 9. Dirty laundry and some appliances don’t work for long time. If you can afford few hundred bucks more, go to Halstead Parsippany, very expensive old apartments.
