Tri-pointe homes has broken the law with home buyers as well as cooperating brokers who bring buyers to them. In this particular case, the Tri-Pointe team used coersive pressure to force the Escrow Team to violate their responsibility to disclose, candidly, all charges and credits to the home buyer. In parallel, Tri-pointe home also coerced the home buyers, to fire their exclusive buyer agent, PRIOR to agreeing to sell the property to the buyers. It is completely understandable that the buyers, who want to be homeowners, would succumb to the pressure of the home builder. The benefit to Tri-pointe homes was 1) to force the buyer brokerage to collect outside of the transaction and, more importantly, 2) to mislead the buyers into thinking that the huge lending and solar costs that were added

The worst experience at Tri Pointe San Diego Division. Newly constructed home has all sort of problems. A simple repair can take a few months to complete. The site manager is dismissive. The customer service person tended to brush aside a concern a homeowner brought up. They do not understand what customer services are.

Left a message on their website and got a call back the next day (it was Sunday). The agent didn’t have extra information rather than what I could see online and didn’t even know the price. Although the community looks at least half way done from outside they don’t have model home and tours yet.

They are the worst builder ever! Don't even try to go with them. I got house from them not even a month i moved there is new built 2020 I received it on july 27 2022 a-lot of issues in a house if right list of the issue i need 30 page’s to finish. and they lie big time, i got the upgrade one they built it for me the basic with upgrade price THEY ARE THE WORST EVER. You work hard for you money don't give it the them. Trashy material!

Overcrowding the schools without support of infrastructure to support these homes.
