Tri-Hill Management is the absolute worst. They are the MOST negligent, incompetent, cheap, and scummy property managers I have ever been stuck dealing with. It is -15 degrees outside, and there hasn't been heat or hot water in the building for 27 hours, with no repair in sight! They've sent all of 2 emails to tenants, and offered nothing to mitigate the harm being done. Oh, and this is the second time in 10 days this has happened. They've allowed a roach infestation to fester for years. Failed to remediate fundamental plumbing problems that have cause 3 apartment ceilings to flood and cave in. There is ZERO emergency hot-line to reach a real person after hours. They attempt to illegaly increase rents, and force evictions on rent-controlled tenants. Even when things are "normal", the build

Ever since Tri Hill took over, my building has consistently been deliberately kept at temperatures below the legal levels in the coldest NYC winter in almost a decade. Hot water barely works either. It’s currently completely off today. Front door lock is broken and packages are stolen almost daily. Management knows all of this and does nothing. They almost never respond to emails and when they do it’s completely unhelpful and nothing is fixed. This is a slumlord company that lets tenants freeze to keep money in their pockets.

I am a current tenant, and the neglect from this company is reprehensible. With below freezing temperatures outside, our heat and hot water has shut off numerous times over the past few months without any notice. This has forced me and my roommates to relocate for entire weekends. This company has been impossible to get a hold of during these problems. I have called their office over 10 times in the past week and have been sent to voice mail every time. I have left voice mails and have never received a call back. I have sent several emails and follow up emails and have not gotten a response back. What they are doing is absolutely illegal, but they are relying on the fact that lawyers are expensive and their tenants probably don’t have the resources to force legal action.

Since 8/12/25, I have made 10+ complaints and have filed 5+ maintenance reports about a yellow jacket nest outside of my window with the inability to use the property outside that I am renting. It's is 11/16/25 and been over 90 days to respond and Tri Hill Management has failed to provide any service, help, or support on this issue. The issue which was once outside of my apartment, has become an infestation in my apartment. I have killed over 150 aggressive yellow jackets that have found their way into my sealed apartment putting my pet and myself in jeapardy. Tri Hill Management has neglected to service the needs of this uninhabitable situation- leaving the apartment in an unlivable condition, while still collecting my rent on a monthly basis, Tri Hill has violated local law 55 of 2018. a

Do not ever do business with this company. The mattress—which was not in apartment for 6 out of the 9 days I was—and desk did not arrive at the agreed upon time and the appliances (namely the washing machine / dryer) were a complete debacle. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was limited to a certain amount of residents and I was told I would need to upgrade it at my expense, despite high speed internet connection being advertised as one of the key amenities of the unit. I was, however, extremely patient with management since I only had a 12 week lease and checked multiple times with them for status updates and other accommodations. Finally, the last straw was a massive leak from the ceiling secreting sticky brown fluid. The leak was not persistent but would stream down whenever the bathroom above wa
