Townhouse South Apartments

We kept getting switched from apartment to apartment # at Townhouse South apartments in Longview Texas because they wasn’t ready by the move in dates we were originally given due to having to spray for roaches and repairs. The week we were told that we could move in on a Friday we stopped by to ask to see the apartment. The manager had an attitude as if she didn’t want us to look at it but we were allowed to look at it. The apartment repairs were half done. There was a large hole in the wall in one of the bedrooms were it looked like there was an attempt to cover it up with paint and tons and tons of baby roaches came from under the carpet. We told her we didn’t want the apartment and needed our $500 deposit back and was told we couldn’t get it back. I didn’t sign a lease or anything.

I enjoy the apartment but every time I have a maintenance issue it takes forever for the maintenance supervisor to come by and then he halfway does his job. I have overheard him talking bad about the manager also, but she is the only one that does her job and is helpful. I have heard her call the maintenance man about an issue I had and he was super hateful to her on the phone...I could hear him and she didn't even have him on Speaker!! All in all the property and the manager, Meagan are great and I would suggest my friends to live here also!

We've asked 5 times to have our base boards at door fixed by person, also they gave us roach bombings and we've used them all, we are still infested. No our house is not messy. Mold all in the bathrooms and coming from ceilings and when we moved here it was 640$ 3 years ago, now it is 890$ plus electric water sweage and trash. Over 1, 300 for a SMALL 2 bed 1 bath. Trying to leave asap ...... As of today they told me the maintenance people clean my ciggs from outside.... Not true, I do. And we are going on 4 months with no AC. They said hopefully next week (2 months ago).

After a month of being on the premises I found bedbugs. After speaking with my neighbors I was told that the couple residents before me were out on a Wednesday and I received my keys the next Friday. I was told that during the 48 hours prior to me moving in there was no exterminating done. I spoke with the office and was informed that it would cost me $300 out of pocket. When I called the corporate office and left a voicemail with my name and the location of the property with my telephone number. Instead of returning my call the lady at corporate calls the manager and I assumed questioned him about why a resident was calling from his property. This place is a big scam. They recently just took my cousin and her kids hard earned deposit of 600.00. The apartment given was not the one she signed for, and it wasn't even liveable. You are a disgrace to the Longview community. Scammers. The numbers listed on the property American equities is not even their number. The address is for a credit union. You will be stopped. You got the right ones. See you in court. The office manager, very unprofessional.
