Townhomes at Chapel Watch Village

The apartments appear to receive very superficial maintenance, which resulted in constant maintenance needs throughout our time living here. Even when approximately 15–20% of the units were vacant, the service team was clearly overwhelmed because almost everyone needed repairs. While the maintenance staff worked hard and did their best, we still had to wait days for many issues to be addressed. During our stay, we repeatedly submitted maintenance requests related to plumbing and HVAC. Our unit was flooded once due to a plumbing issue. Last winter, during the coldest days, the HVAC system was only blowing cold air. In the summer, during extreme heat, the air conditioning stopped working twice. We are deeply disappointed. Our issue is not about money, it is about fairness. After living in this home and building many beautiful family memories, being treated this way over a charge for damage we did not cause was truly upsetting. We reported a pre-existing crack in the toilet verbally shortly after moving in. We were told at the time that residents’ verbal reports are trusted and that it would not be an issue. Unfortunately, due to frequent staff turnover, that information was never properly documented. In the end, we were charged anyway. The crack was located on the inner surface of the toilet and was not visible during normal use when the seat was closed. Once we noticed it, we reported it responsibly. Raquiiba was very informative helpful and professional when showing my wife and I these beautiful homes. She was upbeat, joyful and expressed a positive attitude. During our tour she introduced us to the residents and remembered everyones names. Not only are the homes beautiful, the whole experience was 10 out of 10.
