Very helpful and saved me hundred of dollars. TLC Settlements wasn't my title settlement company, but they helped me (Hi, Lucy!) and were instrumental in helping me resolve issues that arose from using another company. So here's what happened. I was in the process of resolving a back property tax issue caused by IntelliTitle, who failed to disburse the seller's share of prorated real property to the county and town, when I noticed that my name was misspelled on my deed. The county informed me that I needed to get an amended deed to correct the county record and that I should contact a real estate attorney. I called TLC Settlements for a referral and Lucy Beaty reviewed my deed and discovered a critical error, that the deed only reflected a partial interest in the property being convey
