TLC Log Homes

DO NOT USE. TLC and Jake Swift attempted to build us a house by a river. Charged us 100 % of the contract price but only finishing 40 % of the project after 10 months with defects. Absolutely no communication or management skills with little building knowledge. Duplicate billing as well as billing us for company tools Jake Swift bullied us to pay or he would walk especially if we questioned anything or wanted itemization of charges. Debra and I did not sleep for months with the stress of his excuses and lies. He turned the house of our dreams into a nightmare. We regret dealing with Jake Swift as he has absolutely no ethics and as you can see from his lame responses below of about us not willing to pay. I used TLC Log Homes for an office addition to our log home and was very pleased with the outcome. Excellent craftsmanship by an obviously skilled crew. Friendly, good communication, planning and coordination. During the project, I always felt as involved as I wanted to be but never felt I “needed” to be. They had my interests, wishes and any concerns about the project covered. The result is an office, pleasing in details and appearance that I’m happy to walk into in the morning. Makes me, the rest of the family and others smile. What else can I say? Well done guys. So I have to give a 5 star rating.

Very professional! They did everything as promised, even earlier; TLC Log Homes is a very reliable company with brilliant ideas. Jake was a breath of fresh air and I needed it after past experiences we had with contractors, Thank you so much. I highly recommend them to everybody.
